SHEET & PLATE – Stainless Steel Plates and Sheets

1. SHEET : Stainless Steel Sheet (HR – Hot Rolled)

 

Produced by passing slabs through a hot rolling mill, then wound into coils or cut into sheets.

Widely used across all industrial sectors.

2. SHEET : Stainless Steel Sheet (CR – Cold Rolled)

 

Manufactured by reprocessing hot rolled sheets at room temperature, resulting in thinner gauge, precise thickness, smooth surface, and high gloss finish.

Highly suitable for press forming and applied to a wide range of industries.

3. PLATE : QUARTO PLATE [Heavy Plate]

 

A thick hot rolled plate, generally classified as 6mm or thicker.

Depending on material grade, it is used in various industrial applications requiring strength and durability.

*Unlike coil sheets, heavy plates are produced differently, resulting in greater thickness tolerance and reduced thermal deformation during hot cutting.

1. 스테인리스 강판 (HR – 열간 압연)

 

슬라브 원자재를 열간 압연기로 가공하여 코일 형태로 감거나, 일정 길이로 절단한 판재입니다. 전 산업군에 걸쳐 폭넓게 사용됩니다.

2. 스테인리스 강판 (CR – 냉간 압연)

 

열연 강판을 상온에서 재가공하여 만든 제품으로, 얇고 정밀한 두께와 매끄러운 표면, 높은 광택이 특징입니다. 프레스 가공에 적합하며 다양한 용도로 활용됩니다.

 

 

3. QUARTO PLATE (후판)

 

압연기를 통해 제조되는 두꺼운 열간 압연 강판으로, 보통 두께 6mm 이상을 후판이라 합니다. 재질과 규격에 따라 산업 전반의 다양한 분야에서 사용됩니다.

 

*후판은 코일 판재(sheet)와 생산 방식이 다르며, 같은 두께 대비 더 높은 안정성을 가지며 열간 절단 시 열 변형이 적은 특성을 보입니다.​
